ABOUT US
Velocamp Mallorca was created with a simple idea in mind. We wanted to offer a cycling holiday that feels completely different from the large hotel based tours that dominate the island. No crowded three star resorts, no buffet queues, no being one rider among hundreds. We wanted something smaller, more personal and truly memorable.
Our vision was to create a place where cyclists can enjoy the best riding in Mallorca while being fully looked after from the moment they arrive. A place where you can focus on the roads, the scenery and the experience, knowing that every detail is handled with care. Velocamp Mallorca is the result of that vision.

We are based in a beautiful seven bedroom Mallorquin villa in Alaró, a peaceful town surrounded by mountains and widely considered the best cycling base on the entire island. From our doorstep you can ride straight onto Mallorca’s most iconic routes, including Sa Calobra, Coll de sa Batalla, Coll de Sóller, Cap de Formentor and the rolling coastline around Deià. No long transfers, no congested roads, just direct access to the very best of Mallorca.
What sets us apart is the level of service. Every meal is prepared by our private villa chef using fresh local ingredients. Our support vehicle goes ahead each day to set up dedicated food and water stops, stocked with fruit, sandwiches, bars, gels and cold drinks so you never have to queue in busy cafés. After every ride you return to freshly baked snacks, smoothies, massages and compression therapy, with plenty of time to unwind by the private pool before dinner.
Our groups are small, just eleven riders per week, which creates a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where people quickly get to know each other. Whether you arrive alone or with friends, you soon become part of a close, supportive group that rides, eats and relaxes together.
Velocamp Mallorca is for cyclists who want more than a standard cycling holiday. It is for riders who appreciate thoughtful service, great food, quiet luxury and unforgettable roads. It is for people who want a week where everything runs smoothly and where they can fully disconnect from daily life and reconnect with the simple pleasure of riding. This is a cycling holiday designed by people who love cycling holidays. Beautiful roads, shared moments, exceptional service and a villa that feels like home. A place where you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like you have been part of something special.

Meet Alex
I am Alex, originally from the UK, and I have called Mallorca home since 2017. Like many people, I came here for the lifestyle, but it was the mountains, the quiet backroads and the feeling of freedom on the bike that changed everything for me.
Before building Velocamp Mallorca, I spent more than a decade working on superyachts, providing service to some of the most demanding and high profile clients in the world. Life at sea taught me what true hospitality means. I learned how to anticipate needs before they are asked for, how to deliver seamless experiences and how to create an environment where people feel completely cared for. Those years shaped my entire approach to service.
When I began cycling in Mallorca, I quickly noticed a gap. Almost everything on the island was based around budget cycling tours, crowded hotels and an experience that felt rushed and impersonal. I knew there were cyclists who wanted more. More comfort, more attention, better food, better support and a place that felt like a home rather than a hotel.
Velocamp Mallorca was built to fill that gap. It brings together my love for cycling and my background in world class service, creating a bespoke, all inclusive cycling holiday where every detail is handled with care. From daily support on the road, to private chef meals, to thoughtful touches at the villa, the goal is simple. To give riders a week where they want for nothing.
Velocamp is my dream brought to life. A place for cyclists who love good riding, good company and the feeling of being completely looked after. A place where you can arrive, switch off and enjoy Mallorca the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

Karina Carlson
Karina is originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and for her, food has always been a way of caring for people. She has spent many years working as a private chef on superyachts, cooking for families and guests who expect the very highest level of service. Those years taught her precision, creativity and the importance of making every meal feel special.
Since moving to Mallorca, Karina has fallen in love with the island’s ingredients and the Mediterranean way of cooking. At Velocamp, she brings all of this experience together. She blends the elegance of superyacht dining with the warmth of home cooking to create meals that are both deeply nourishing and full of personality.
At the villa, every dish is prepared with care, using fresh local produce and a mix of Mediterranean, Latin American and international flavours. Breakfasts are bright and energising, lunches are simple and restorative, and dinners are colourful, sociable and often the highlight of the day. She cooks with the goal of bringing people together and creating a sense of comfort and community around the table.
For Karina, food is never just fuel. It is recovery, pleasure, and the heart of the Velocamp experience. Her cooking sets the tone for the week. It brings riders together, elevates the atmosphere of the villa and ensures that everyone feels fully cared for from the first morning to the final dinner under the stars.
